Holy Angels' Altar Rosary fall event is Monday, September 8th, and begins at the Shelby County Historical Society, 201 N Main Ave, Sidney at 6:00PM. We will walk together across the street to the Wallace Family Learning and Innovation Center to hear from the director, Tilda Philpot, who will give us the opportunity for a self-guided tour while answering questions. After our visit, we will return to the Historical Society building for a short update on Altar Rosary endeavors followed by fellowship, door prizes, dessert and beverages. All women of Holy Angels are invited to attend because all women of Holy Angels belong to the Altar Rosary Society.

Our cheery spring gathering of all women in the parish is Monday, May 6 at the Amos Library Community Room from 6:00 -7:30 pm. We will honor mothers and daughters who attend together!

This is also our “spring fling” bingo night so bring 25 coins to cover your bingo card. After our closing coverall, you have the option to clear your card by donating your coins into the donation basket for Morgan’s Place. Snacks & drinks provided.

This a double feature event combining Purified and Gender & the Theology of Your Body into a retreat event. The event is hosted by St. Joseph Pillar of Families and will take place at Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Purified brings parents and teens (13+) together to discover God’s plan for love and opens up an opportunity for them to continue the discussion about this important topic at home, in a healthy and easy way with resources that work. The event includes a new version of Jason’s renowned talk Love or Lust, where he mixes humor with down-to-earth practicality that removes any awkwardness, making the difficult conversations about love much easier. Your family will leave with an understanding of the good news of chastity, a healthy sense of self-worth, and the ability, if needed, to start again.

Gender and the Theology of Your Body will follow after a break. This talk asks, “What’s the meaning of sex, gender, and the human body?” The truth of masculinity and femininity are being questioned like never before. Discover how your body as a man or woman reveals your identity and calling. This talk is for teens and adults and provides the opportunity to discuss this difficult topic facing teens and families today.

This event includes Eucharistic Adoration, praise and worship, and an opportunity to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation. This format transforms a couple of talks into a retreat for the family, allowing them to encounter the source of purity, healing, and renewal, Jesus Christ.

Aaron Hess will answer the questions.  Please let Rose Meyer know if you plan to attend so we can order the meat & plan accordingly. Bring a side dish to share if you plan to attend.
